Mary Ann (Kerr) Anderson, 76, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Wayne McElroy and Bessie (Kerr) McElroy was born in Adair County on September 18, 1944 and departed this life peacefully on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Green Hill Rehab and Nursing Home in Greensburg, KY.

She was united in marriage to Danny L. Anderson, who preceded her in death. Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters: Danny McElroy, Alice Havlick, Marcia McElroy, Marvin McElroy, Donnie McElroy, and Martha McElroy.

Ms. Anderson professed her faith in Christ and was of Pentecostal faith. She was a member of Daughters of Veteran's years ago. She loved to embroidery in her spare time. Ms. Anderson enjoyed watching Perry Mason tv show.

SURVIVORS:

2 daughters & 1 son: Bessie Bennett and husband Charles of Campbellsville; Wayne Carson and fiance Suzanne Turner of Barbourville, KY; and Elizabeth Leggett and husband Scott of Campbellsville 

1 brother & 2 sisters: Charles McElroy of Cincinnati, Ohio; Carole Helton and husband Herb of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Cheryl Weinstiger of Winchester, Indiana

12 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren

A host of nieces, nephews, and other family members

Funeral Service: Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 1:00pmET at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville

Burial: Free Union Church Cemetery in Adair County

Walk-Thru Visitation: Thursday from 11:00am-1:00pmET at Auberry Funeral Home
