Judith Ann “Judy” Milby Flanders, 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021. She was born October 19, 1941 in the Gabe Community of Green County, the daughter of the late Archie Moss and Sybil Cynthia (McCubbin) Milby.
Judy attended LaRue County High School in Hodgenville, KY and was a member of the graduating Class of 1960. She then attended Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green. Judy was the Assistant Director of Beech Tree House Center for Child Development serving for 27 years before retiring in 2005. She was also a member of the Life Point Community Church in Indianapolis. She deeply loved her family and doting over her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished the time she could be with them. Family was important to Judy and she immensely enjoyed the family vacations they took to Florida every year for 38 years.

Husband of 60 years: James L. Flanders
2 daughters: Cindy (Tim) Fleck and Beth (Ross) Wolfe
4 grandchildren: Jonathan (Sadie) Fleck, Diana (Jim) Lesko, Katie (Nick) Meguschar and Molly (Aaron) White
2 great-grandchildren: Logan Lesko and Archie Meguschar
1 sister: Patricia (Carl) Heninger
Several nieces & nephews
Graveside service: 2:00 p.m., Eastern Time, Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia, KY with her nephew Kelly Flanders officiating.
The family has requested that memorial contributions in Judy's name can be made to the Servant’s Heart Food Pantry of Indy, 5602 Elmwood Avenue, #212, Indianapolis, IN 46203.
