BETTY FAYE PARKER, 76, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY

 

Betty Faye Parker, 76, daughter of the late Brack and Mary Bell (Caffee) Grant, was born in Adair County, KY on October 23, 1944. She departed this life on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the Presbyterian Homes in Louisville, KY.

 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Mt. Zion Church of God. Mrs. Parker retired from Fruit of the Loom after 40 years of service, and later began a career as an associate at WalMart.

 

On January 11, 1963 she united in marriage to Mr. Glennis Allen Parker. To this union was born a son, Timothy Parker. Mr. and Mrs. Parker remained a devoted couple over 53 years, separated only by Mr. Parker’s passing on September 28, 2016.

 

Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. Parker was also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Shirley Willis Warren and Gladys Bright.

 

SURVIVORS:

1 son: Tim Parker and wife Jill of Louisville

2 granddaughters: Sarah Parker and Hannah Parker, both of Louisville

2 sisters: Geneva Roution of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Esther Cox of Campbellsville, KY

A host of extended family and friends

 

Funeral Service: Friday, March 12, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home,1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Clay Wheeler officiating.

 

Burial: She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Green River Memorial Cemetery following the service.

 

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 12, 2021 after 1:00 PM until time for the service.
