William "Bill" Leslie Simpson, 83, of Louisville, KY, son of the late Walter B. Simpson and Jessie Hay Simpson, was born on Friday, February 4, 1938 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Baptist Health Louisville Hospital.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ, and was a supervisor for Greyhound Bus Lines for 40 plus years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Augusta Lee Pence Simpson on January 6, 1975 having united in marriage in 1959.

2 grandchildren: Kristina Shepherd and husband Michael of Elizabethtown; Stephanie Huddleston of Cecilia

1 sister: Mary Huber of Louisville

Mr. Simpson was also preceded in death by two brothers: James Simpson and Walter B. Simpson, Jr.; and a longtime companion: Ollie Gordon.
