Carolyn Bagby Paxton was born March 6, 1940 in Green County, Kentucky to the late Lindle and Dimple Blankenship Bagby. She departed this life Friday, February 19, 2021 at Baptist Health Louisville Hospice in Louisville.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Presbyterian Church where she served as elder. She was a hairdresser for over 50 years and served on the Greensburg City Council for 6 years.
 

She was united in marriage September 23, 1961 to Stewart Paxton who preceded her in death August 8, 1984. Besides her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by one brother: Jerry Bagby.
