BARBARA JEAN INGRAM RICHARDSON, 70, GREENSBURG, KY

 

Barbara Jean Ingram Richardson, 70, was born on May 31, 1950 in Greensburg, KY to the late Jerry Allen and Katherine Taylor Ingram. She transitioned to her new home in Heaven on January 10, 2021 at 8:00 AM at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. 

 

Barbara was the 7th out of 13 children. She professed in Christ at a very early age at United Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Greensburg, KY where she was the Missionary Treasurer and remained a member until her departure. 

Barbara Jean and Willie Joe Richardson was joined together in marriage on November 23, 1969 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. They were married for 50 years. Barbara graduated from Green County High School and went on to pursue her degree in cosmetology at a Beauty School in Ohio. She continued her certification at Central High School where she received her degree in Cosmetology. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, cousin, and friend.

 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by 4 sisters, Arlene Douglas, Jane Anderson, Mary Adams, & Ella White; and by 1 brother, Sylvester Ingram. 

 

SURVIVORS:

4 children: De Anna Richardson of Lexington, KY, Marcus Richardson of Campbellsville, KY, Kimberly Richardson of Georgetown, KY, and Justin Richardson of Campbellsville, KY

9 grandchildren: Devin Richardson, Micah Richardson, Tristen Bright, Tucker Richardson, Ki’en Bright, Riley Richardson, Sammy Ismael, Major Richardson, and Reign Richardson

7 brothers & sisters: Michael Ingram (Shirlene), Linda Sue White, Jo Ann Ingram, Jerry Ingram (Carolyn), Janet Johnson, Peggy Taylor, and Cathy Richardson (Darrell)

A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many other relatives & friends

 

Funeral Service: Friday, January 15, 2021 at 1:00pmET at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Curle, Master of Ceremony and Rev. Willie Richardson, Eulogy

 

Burial: Bridgewater Groves Caldwell Cemetery

 

Walk-Thru Visitation: Beginning at 11:00amET on Friday 

 

Pallbearers:  Doug Adams, Anthony Anderson, Wade Anderson, Jerriel Douglas, Tyrone Johnson, Gary White
