Janet Cox, 76, daughter of the late George Scudder and Lena Harcourt Scudder, was born December 19, 1944 in St. Omer, Indiana. She died at 7:20 P.M., Monday, February 15, 2021 in Somerset, KY.    

Janet professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, doing puzzles and watching westerns.

Janet united in marriage to Willard Cox and he preceded her in death July 6, 2002. She was also preceded in death by 1 stepdaughter and 2 stepsons: Gay Reed, Don Cox and James O’Neal Cox; 3 brothers and 2 sisters: Robert Scudder, Dennis Scudder, Gene Scudder, Laverna Scudder and Cathy Robinson.

2 sons: James Cox and wife Amanda of Nancy and Walter Imel of Shelbyville, Indiana

2 stepsons: Bobby Cox of Campbellsville, KY; Paul Cox and wife Cedell of Shepherdsville, KY

2 grandsons: Carson Cox and Carter Cox of Nancy, KY

2 sisters: Helen Hudson of Ferdinand, Indiana and Paulette McDonald and husband Wilson of St. Omer, Indiana
