AUDREY "JEANETTE" ELMORE, 85, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY

 

Audrey "Jeanette" Elmore, 85, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Howard Leslie Malone and Rindie Roots Malone, was born in Taylor County on May 7, 1935 and departed this life peacefully on Saturday, February 13th, 2021 at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville, KY.

 

Ms. Elmore professed her faith in Christ and was of Methodist faith. Jeanette was a retired Quality Inspector for Fruit of the Loom. She was well-respected and was appreciated for her kindness and compassion as a friend and co-worker.

Jeanette's greatest joy in life though was being the mother of her two sons (Stephen and Patrick) and "Manette" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

SURVIVORS:

2 sons: Stephen Elmore & wife Kaye of Campbellsville, KY; Patrick Elmore & wife Jamie of Shepherdsville, KY

5 grandchildren: Jason Elmore and Ben Elmore both of Campbellsville, KY;  Audrey Elmore and Madison Elmore both of Shepherdsville, KY; Kristy Elmore-Hensley & husband Donnie of Columbia, KY

2 great-grandchildren: Jaden Elmore and Lily Elmore both of Campbellsville, KY

3 sisters: Glenda Mattingly & husband Burt of Campbellsville, KY; Irene Begley of Louisville, KY; Shirley Bright of Campbellsville, KY

Her former husband: William Lewis Elmore, who has been a lifelong friend

A host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends

 

Walk-Thru Visitation: Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 12pm-2pmET at Auberry Funeral Home in Campbellsville

 

Funeral service: Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 2:00pmET at Auberry Funeral Home with J.C. Mings officiating

 

Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens

 

Pallbearers: Stephen Elmore, Patrick Elmore, Jason Elmore, Benjamin Elmore, William Lewis Elmore, and Kristy Elmore-Hensley

 

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Gideon Bibles and can be made at Auberry Funeral Home. 

 

Social distancing guidelines and masks are required upon entering building.

 

Auberry Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
