Clyde Everett Pruitt, 72, of Campbellsville, KY the son of the late Ervin and Bertha (Sanders) Pruitt, was born April 2, 1948 in Larue County, KY and departed this life on Sunday, February 14, 2021 in Campbellsville at Taylor Regional Hospital. 

Clyde had made a profession of Faith in Christ and was a former pastor in the Baptist Church. He was a Veteran, having served in the United States Army. He was also a retired special education teacher in the Nelson, Hart and Marion County school district. Clyde enjoyed traveling, camping and was a full-time RV fanatic.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers: Betty Pierce, Jerry Wayne Pruitt and one as an infant.

1 daughter: Robin Marrs and husband Greg of Campbellsville, KY

1 granddaughter: Sarah Marrs of Campbellsville, KY

Graveside Service: Monday, February 22, 2021 at 2:30 P.M. at the Lebanon National Cemetery. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home parking lot at approx 1:45 P.M.

Visitation: Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 4-7 PM in the chapel of L.R. Petty Funeral Home 

There will be no visitation on Monday.
