Carlotta McBride (Corky), 68, of Elkhorn, KY passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 28, 1952 the daughter of the late Harold and Barbara Oliver of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Carlotta was a member of the Feathersburg Church of God in Elkhorn, Kentucky. She graduated from Ball State University in 1997, with a degree in nursing. You could always find Carlotta busy sewing, knitting, scrapbooking and hiking. But she loved gardening, fishing (especially blue gill), and decorating. Carlotta never met a stranger. She had a gift of making people feel like lifelong friends.

Husband of 50 years: Kenneth McBride
1 son: David McBride of Anderson, Indiana
Twin daughters: Andrea McBride of Jacksonville, Florida; Lanore (& husband Jeremy) Haley of Yulee, Florida
2 brothers: Ronnie Oliver and Chuck Oliver, both of Indiana
2 sisters: Vanessa Castetter of Alabama and Lori Oliver of Indiana
4 grandchildren: Devin McBride, Kayla McBride, Colton Haley, and Coralyn Haley
3 great-grandchildren: Sam, Reighly, and Charlie
Carlotta has chosen cremation followed by a Celebration of Life given by the family at a later date.
