JOE ALLEN CURRY, SR., 82, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY

 
Joe Allen Curry, Sr., 82, was born January 22, 1938 in Adair County, KY to the late Etheridge Banks Curry and Inez Brockman Curry. He departed this life Monday, December 22, 2020 at The Grandview Nursing Home in Campbellsville, KY.
 
Mr. Curry had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a Brick Mason and served in the National Guard. 
 
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son and 2 daughters: Barry Allen Curry, Patricia Jo Curry, and Beverly Ann Curry; 4 sisters and 4 brothers: Eva Jewell Shuffett, Juanita Curry, Charles Curry, Doris Manning, Harold Curry, Willie Curry, Roger Curry and Mary Louise Parrish.

Wife of 64 years: Jane Alden Bright Curry
2 sons and a daughter-in-law: Joe Curry, Jr. and John & Karen Curry of Campbellsville, KY
4 daughters and sons-in-law:  Diana Clark & husband Brad of Bowling Green, KY; Betty Montgomery & husband Jeff of Greer, South Carolina; Cheryl Curry of Campbellsville, KY; Melissa Nutgrass & husband Mike of Shelbyville, KY
1 brother: Jim Curry of Greensburg, KY
4 sisters: Judy Metcalfe of Greensburg, KY; Sue Bondurant of Florida; Martha Curry of Mt. Washington, KY; Wanda Edelen & husband Mitch of Florida
12 grandchildren:  Rob Bryant, Adam Sprowles, Josh Ford, Shonda Cowherd, Andrew Tungate, Elliott Benningfield, McKenzie Plummer, Dillion Nutgrass, Miranda Nutgrass, Danielle Olmstead, Ally Curry and Tyler Benningfield

Funeral Service: Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 2:00pmCT at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Delashmit officiating
 
Burial: Milltown Cemetery
 
Walk-Thru Visitation: Saturday from 4:00pm-7:00pmCT and Sunday after 7:00amCT at the funeral home

The family has requested that donations be made to American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society. These can be made at the funeral home.
 
Due to State Mandated Guidelines funeral services are limited to 50 percent capacity.  Please wear a mask at all times and continue maintaining a minimum of 6 feet social distancing.
