Lois Hord Carter, 86, of Campbellsville, KY daughter of the late Walter Ray Hord and Elsie Gore Hord, was born July 12, 1934 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 11:59 A.M., Saturday, December 19, 2020 in Campbellsville.
Lois was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She professed faith in Christ and was a lifelong member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Lois enjoyed walking around her Green Acres neighborhood every day and volunteering at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehabilitation when she was able. She was a big University of Kentucky Wildcat Fan.

2 daughters and 1 son: Debbie Carter Mathers, Patty Carter Howard and David Carter & wife Rebecca of Campbellsville
3 grandchildren: Heather Barnes, Shawn Carter and Matthew Bright
4 great-grandchildren: Tanner Barnes, Lauren Barnes, Colton Bright and Brayden Carter
Several nieces & nephews and many other relatives & friends
She was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 2 brothers: Joyce Tucker, Dorothy O’Banion, Audrey Maupin, Louise Oliver, Jean Wright, Richard Hord and Kenny Hord.
