Jerry Nell Long, 76, of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Miley Long and Margaret Willis Long, was born January 31, 1944 in Cumberland County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the University of Louisville/Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Jerry was a magnet grounder for Crucible Steele Company for 36 years, and currently worked for Taylor Regional Hospital in the Maintenance Department for 6 years.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Long was also preceded in death by 2 sons: Jerry Dewayne “Dee” Long on July 11, 1995 and Robert Allen “Robbie” Long on December 27, 2012; and by 2 brothers and 1 sister: Albert Long, Richard Long, and Faye Walters.
