Kimberly Kay Lawson, 54, of Campbellsville, KY was born in Taylor County on December 21, 1965 to the late “Hambone” and Shirley (Wade) Blankenship. She departed this life on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the University of Louisville Hospital after an extended illness. 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle. Mrs. Lawson was a long-time car saleslady, and was well-known and respected throughout the community.

Husband: Roy Dale Lawson of Campbellsville

3 children: Zachary Dale Lawson of Butler, Conner Reed Lawson of Campbellsville, and Kaitlyn Rose Lawson of Campbellsville

3 siblings: Leanne Blankenship of Campbellsville, Anthony Blankenship of Campbellsville, and Melissa Blankenship of Crittenden County

An aunt: Anne Sutty of Campbellsville

Several other family members and friends

Mrs. Lawson chose cremation and a private interment service will be conducted at a later date.
