Pat Thompson, 82, of Campbellsville, KY daughter of the late Elmer Goodin and Minnie Farmer Goodin, was born August 11, 1938 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in Elizabethtown.  

She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and a former cook at Medco Nursing Home and Green Hill Manor Nursing Home for several years.

She professed faith in Christ at Elk Horn Baptist Church and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle.

Pat united in marriage to Delbert Lee Thompson March 30, 1961 and he preceded her in death February 27, 2012.  
 

Pat was a fun loving and outgoing lady who loved her family, dancing, cooking and the Kentucky Wildcats. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her great delight. Pat especially enjoyed Christmas.

1 son: Greg Thompson & wife Kim of Campbellsville

1 daughter: Cathy Thompson of Frankfort

5 grandchildren: Jeff Thompson & wife Chelsey, Paige Cook & husband Daniel, Bailey Thompson, Tayler Thompson and Chloe Thompson all of Campbellsville

5 great-grandchildren: Easton Cook, Parker Hamilton, Owen Thompson, Willa Thompson and Dansby Thompson

1 brother: Billy Goodin & wife Sue of Finley

Special niece & nephew: Mary Ann Brown and Larry Benningfield

Several other nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends

Pat was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters: Charles Goodin, James Goodin, Elmer Goodin, Jr., Gene Goodin, Catherine Newton, Marie Caulk, Mildred Benningfield and Mary Caulk.
