Roger Pickett, 69, of Campbellsville, KY son of the late Lloyd G. Pickett and Louise H. Akin Pickett, was born March 11, 1951 in Green County, KY. He died at 10:00 P.M., Sunday, November 29, 2020 in Campbellsville.
Roger was a retired Staff Sergeant for Campbellsville Police Department and Director of Public Safety for Lindsey Wilson College. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. Roger was a true patriot who loved his country and the communities he grew up in and lived in. As a police officer, he tried to always be fair when dealing with offenders of the law. He was a people person who never met a stranger. He was a family man and was especially proud of his grandchildren and attended all their activities when he was able. He loved music and was a former drummer for Ruff Cut Band.
He united in marriage to Janet Watson March 8, 1968 and she preceded him in death December 31, 2014.
