Zelma Irene (Waymon) Russell, 94, of Campbellsville, KY daughter of the late Roby Waymon and Cora Ellen Waymon was born in Russell Springs, KY on November 4, 1926 and departed this life on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Zelma professed her faith in Christ and was of Baptist faith. She attended Speck Ridge School in her early years of life. She worked at Fruit of the Loom for many years prior to moving to Louisville, Kentucky, where she retired from General Electric Manufacturing as a production worker.
She united in marriage to Harlin Miller Christie in 1943, who preceded her in death in 1954. She united in marriage to Robert Allen Russell, who preceded her in death on January 16, 2005. Zelma was also preceded in death by one sister, Rosie Milsap and one grandchild, Angela Rae Brockman.

11 grandchildren: Gerald (Gerry) Dunham, Jr., Christy Ross Roberson, David Eric Ross, Cindy G. Dunham Haynes, Scott L. Dunham, Taylor Mays Barr, Sarah Russell Kiser, Kaelin Christine Russell Hyle, Candace Russell Mullen, Brian White, and Andrea White Bloodworth
