Shirley Jean Simpson Blackwood, 74, was born February 12, 1946 in Green County, KY to the late Cecil (Teetle) and Alline Milby Simpson. She departed this life Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at her home in Crocker, Missouri.
Shirley had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Goodwill Church. She was a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Laura Lee Blackwood; 1 brother: Charlie Simpson; 1 nephew: Ken Simpson; 1 niece: Angie Heath; 2 brothers-in-law: Steve “Butch” Jewell and Doyle Bishop; 2 special dogs: Scooby-doo and Buddy.
