Elroy Riggs, 83, of Campbellsville, KY son of the late Richard Bryant Riggs and Lucinda Marie White Riggs, was born February 1, 1937 and was proud of being from Finley Ridge, KY. He died at 3:11 P.M., Sunday, October 4, 2020 in Campbellsville. 

Elroy professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a retired owner and operator of Green River Wholesale.

Wife of 62 years: Rachel Reese Riggs of Campbellsville, KY

1 son: Alan Riggs & wife Alicia of Greensburg, KY

1 daughter: Vickie McKinley & husband Mark of Campbellsville, KY

5 grandchildren: Maggie Brooke Adams & husband Kevin of Louisville, KY; Kelsey Riggs of St. Petersburg, Florida; Ellie Paine and husband Davis of Maryville, Tennessee; Rachel Hughes & husband Sean of Memphis, Tennessee; Peter Riggs of Greensburg, KY

2 great-grandchildren: Claire & Julian Coleman of St. Petersburg, Florida

1 sister: Elaine Harrison of Shelbyville, KY

Several nieces &nephews and many other relatives & friends

He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters:  Orval C. Riggs, Charles A. Riggs, Weldon Ray Riggs, Donna Victoria Payne and Lou Ann Turner.
