LINDA LOU ALFORD, 75, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY

 

Linda Lou Alford, 75, of Campbellsville, KY was born in Scottsville, KY on December 7, 1944 to Mazie (Wilkerson) Kettles and the late Ray Kettles. She departed this life on Saturday, September 19, 2020. 
 
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. A sweet and loving lady, she was an exceptional homemaker; she enjoyed raising a garden and cooking and canning for her family. Linda retired from Fruit of the Loom in 1997 and spent the later part of her years attending her beloved Sunday School class. She had a strong faith, and joyfully instilled in her children the love of God and church.
 
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: James and Bill Kettles.
 
SURVIVORS:
Husband: James L. Alford
2 children: Kristin Bolin & husband Jackie and James Alford Jr., both of Campbellsville, KY
2 grandchildren: Mary Catherine Bolin & Cheyenne Autumn Bolin of Danville
1 great-grandchild: Cordelia Reese Bolin of Danville, KY
5 siblings: Madge Bailey of Bowling Green, KY; Richard Kettles of Danville, KY; Carolyn Sue Douglas of Junction City, KY; Jozette Hayes of Danville, KY; and Jeff Kettles of Harrodsburg, KY
A host of other family and friends
 
Cremation was chosen by the family. All services will be held privately.
 
L.R. Petty Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
