Harvey Garrett, 80, of Campbellsville, KY son of the late Moses Garrett and Nellie Gunter Garrett, was born May 19, 1940 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:30 A.M., Sunday, September 20, 2020 in Campbellsville.
He told his wife, Diane, that he belonged to Jesus. Harvey played in several bands, including the New Beginnings Gospel group where they played for a couple of nursing homes. Harvey was a farmer most of his life. He was an avid coon hunter and always said, “all he needed for a good day, was a good coon dog and a shade tree”.
Harvey united in marriage to Diane Mills Garrett June 1, 1972.

Harvey was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Sue Orberson and one brother and one sister: Sylvester Garrett and Fayola Kennedy.
