MILDRED PERKINS, 89, HORSE CAVE (FORMERLY OF GREEN CO.)

 
Mildred Gentry Perkins, 89, of Horse Cave, KY (formerly of Greensburg, KY) daughter of the late Robert Leslie Gentry and Mary Helen Moran Gentry, was born on Monday, April 20, 1931 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Bowling Green Medical Center. 
 
She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist of the Nolynn Association Church, and was a homemaker. She united in marriage to Edward Warren Perkins on December 27, 1946 who preceded her in death on April 10, 2009.
 
SURVIVORS: 1 daughter and son-in-law: Janice and Gilbert Curry of Edmonton; 1 granddaughter: Kyla Beger and her husband Dylan of Green County; 1 great-grandchild: Kylan Beger; 1 brother and sister: Clell Gentry of Greensburg and Marie Compton of Campbellsville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
 
Mrs. Perkins was also preceded in death by a granddaughter: Kerra Curry; and a brother: Bobby Gentry.

Funeral Service: 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Ennis-Perkins Cemetery. Bro. Eudell Stilts officiating.
 
Visitation is requested after 10:00 A.M., Central Time, Saturday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.
 
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
