JOEL MAYES HARRIS, 57, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Joel Mayes Harris, 57, the son of Joel “Joe” Harris of Campbellsville and the late Margaret (Montgomery) Harris was born June 3, 1963 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 in Louisville at the Norton Hospital. 
 
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Presbyterian Faith. Joel was a former employee of Cox Interiors and was the caretaker of Bethel Cemetery. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, woodworking, movies, cooking and animals. He always found time to work on cars and tear something up just so he could fix it and told jokes while working.

Father: Joel Harris of Campbellsville
1 son: Jacob Harris & wife Bridget of Campbellsville
1 daughter: Lindsey Hash & companion Blake Caldwell of Greensburg
1 brother: Albert Harris of Campbellsville
2 sisters: Teresa West & husband Gary of Wyoming and Nona Gribbins & husband Greg of Campbellsville
8 grandchildren: Drayden and Rhyan Hash, Bryson Gabehart, Eliyas Caldwell, Jesslynne and Haley Mann, Abigail Powell and Ridley Harris
2 aunts: Ruth Ann Cowherd and Doris Franklin
Nieces & nephews: Sara Wyatt, BJ Harris, Jackson Harris, Jonathan West, Benjamin West and Amanda West and a host of other relatives and friends.
 
The family chose cremation and a memorial service will be held in the near future.
