Sara Nell Rodgers Murray, 81, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late J.G. Rodgers and Essie Shuffett Rodgers, was born January 15, 1939 in Adair County, KY and departed this life on Monday, August 17, 2020 at the Green Hill Rehab & Care Center.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was also a former Adult Education Instructor for the Green County Vocational School.
She united in marriage to Glendal Page Murray on August 30, 1957 who preceded her in death on July 21, 2011.
SURVIVORS:
1 daughter and son-in-law: Rhonda Gail and Terry Curry of Richmond; 1 son and daughter-in-law: Shaun and Cathy Murray of Greensburg; 3 grandchildren: Joshua Curry (JoAnn) of Corbin, Sara Catlett (Will) of Richmond, and Casen Murray of Greensburg; 4 great-grandchildren: Reece Curry, Elin Curry, Jack Catlett, and Tinley Catlett; 1 sister-in-law: Ruth Rodgers of Campbellsville; 2 brothers-in-law: Kenny Murray of LaGrange and David Murray of Greensburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Murray was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters: Kenneth Rodgers, Junior Rodgers, Randal Rodgers, Ortella Pickett, Audrey Wells, and Jean Looney.

Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M., Central Time, Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Cliffton Sullivan.
Walk through visitation: 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Wednesday and after 7 A.M., Thursday
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund, or the Bethlehem Baptist Church Youth Program, which can be made at the funeral home.
