Edith Garnett, 90, of Campbellsville, KY daughter of the late Herman Hunt and Iva Mae Hunt, was born May 27, 1930 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 8:30 P.M., Sunday, August 2, 2020 in Greensburg.  

Edith professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and enjoyed playing bingo at the nursing home.

She united in marriage to Lewis Garnett April 7, 1955 and he preceded her in death on January 26, 1998. Edith was also preceded in death by a son in infancy, Barry Lee Garnett November 24, 1964 and 3 brothers: Colby Hunt, Odell Hunt and Ollen Wayne Hunt.  

SURVIVORS: 

1 nephew: Terry Chewing & wife Kathy of Campbellsville; 1 sister: Jewell Chewning of Campbellsville; 2 great-nephews: Jacob Chewning & wife Jess of Campbellsville and Jordan Chewning & wife Stephanie of Campbellsville and many other relatives & friends.
