Norma Jean Wathen Absher, 71, was born December 6, 1948 in Green County, KY to the late Ray Gordon Wathen and Gracie Evelyn Bale Wathen. She departed this life Sunday, July 26, 2020 at her home in Greensburg.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Aetna Grove Baptist Church. She was a retired Home Health Aid. She was united in marriage to Barry Absher on September 26, 1966.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Barry Absher; 1 son, Douglas O’Neal Absher of Bradenton, Florida; 1 daughter, Alecia Ralyn Absher of Greensburg; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law: Suzy & William Berry and Linda & Phillip Dobson of Greensburg; 1 brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Gene Dale & Jeanetta Holmes of Columbia; special friends: Stella Durrett, Kynslee Bloyd and Kree Bloyd; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives & friends.
