Sharon Elizabeth Sofiak, 76, departed this life on Friday, July 9, 2020 at her home in Campbellsville, KY. She was born August 9, 1943 in Casey County, KY, the daughter of the late Joseph Gregory “Monk” Wethington and Florence Glenna Wethington.

She professed faith in Christ and attended Campbellsville Christian Church.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 26 years, Dennis Sofiak; 5 children: Tara Burdine and husband Doug of Campbellsville; Caroline Hewitt and husband Dave of Bradfordsville; Gary Lyons and wife Terri of Campbellsville; Larry Lyons and wife Lisa of Campbellsville and Scott Lyons of Campbellsville; 1 stepdaughter, Tracey Bean and husband Jason of Indianapolis, IN; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a special niece, Pat Willoughby of Paris, KY.

She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral Service: Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. EST at Auberry Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery in Campbellsville, KY

Walk-through visitation: Sunday, July 12, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. EST
