Fred Raffety, 83, of Campbellsville, KY son of the late Alvin Raffety and Lettie Colvin Raffety, was born November 22, 1936 in Taylor County, KY. He died at 4:44 P.M., Tuesday June 16, 2020 in Louisville, KY.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for some 70 years. Fred was a retired production supervisor for Parker Kalon in Campbellsville.
He united in marriage to Catheline Newcomb September 15, 1956.

Wife: Catheline Raffety of Campbellsville, KY; 2 daughters and 1 son: Glenda Colvin & husband Lynn of Campbellsville, Larry Raffety & wife Sherry of Finley and Kim Deener & husband Jeff of Campbellsville; 5 granddaughters: Leanna Cundiff & husband Shawn, Amy Burton & husband Mike, Jessie Newton & husband J.D. and Jennifer Sprowles & husband Scott of Campbellsville and Christy Higdon & husband Nick of Leitchfield; 6 great-grandchildren: Evan Cundiff, Chase Burton, Reese Burton Bradley Newton, Kenzie Sprowles and Jeffrey Sprowles; several nieces & nephews and many other relatives & friends.
He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: William Lawrence Raffety November 27, 2007, Edwin C. Raffety November 23, 1974 and Harold Raffety in infancy.
