Helena Atwood, 75, of Merrimac in Taylor County, KY, daughter of the late Wilburn & Nettie Lowe Gunter was born February 19, 1945 and departed this life at 8:43 A.M., Friday, May 15, 2020 in Campbellsville.
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Atwood was a homemaker and loved her flowers and all her animals.
Helena united in marriage to Chester Atwood in 1983. He preceded her in death on July 14th, 1999.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, John Gunter Sr., and a sister Mary Frances Eason.
DUE TO THE EFFORTS TO COMBAT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 AND RECENT REQUIREMENTS IMPLEMENTED BY THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR ANDY BESHEAR AND THE KENTUCKY BOARD OF EMBALMERS AND FUNERAL DIRECTORS, ALL FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE PERFORMED PRIVATELY.
