Mary Elizabeth Burris, 86, was born July 15, 1933 in Green County, KY to the late Alec “Elic” Zander Burris and Delzie Emmaline Parson Burris. She departed this life Wednesday May 13, 2020 at the University of Louisville Hospital.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Roy, Rue, Eunie, Bill, Rollin and A.Z. Burris, Shirley Smith, Norene Burris and Joyce Dillahay.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and executive order by Kentucky Governor Beshear, the services for Mary Izzie Burris will be conducted privately with Bro. Garnett Wayne Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Tarter’s Chapel Cemetery in Adair County.
