IMOGENE BARNES BUSH, 85, GREENSBURG

 
Imogene "Jean" Barnes Bush, 85, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Ollie Barnes and Lola Foley Barnes, was born on Monday, July 2, 1934 in Adair County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at her home. 
 
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church. She was a machine operator for the former American Needle Craft Co., a teacher's aide for the old Green County Elementary School, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Jean also loved fishing, and going to ballgames watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren play.
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 1 brother.
 
SURVIVORS:
Husband of 67 years: Doyle Ray Bush
3 sons & daughters-in-law: Mike & Robin Bush, Danny & Lana Bush, and Joey & Kaylene Bush all of Greensburg
1 daughter & son-in-law: Julie and Jeff Walker of Greensburg
9 grandchildren: Heather Bush, Brandi Bush, Emillee Whitlow, Becca Bush, Colton Bush, Jake Walker, Raylen Walker, Brody Bush, and Gunner Bush
7 great-grandchildren: Joshua Skaggs, Lauren Skaggs, Chloe Bush, Breanna Bush, Max Whitlow, Ellie Whitlow, and Reed Waker
1 great-great-grandchild: Skyler Skaggs
2 brothers: Roy Glen Barnes and Charles Landon Barnes both of Louisville
A host of other relatives and friends

There will be private graveside service with burial in the Pierce Community Cemetery. Bro. Dale Curry and Bro. Brenson Bishop officiating. 
 
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hosparus of Green River, which can be made through the funeral home.
