Fern Settle, 91, of Campbellsville, KY passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020. He was born on January 25, 1929 in Washington County to the late Elva and Zelma Catherine (Young) Settle.
Mr. Settle was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served his country honorably during the reconstruction of Japan after WWII. He worked the entirety of his life for a variety of pipeline services laying pipelines across the United States. Mr. Settle was a Shriner and loved his Sunday School class at Campbellsville Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Marlin Settle, Geoge Settle, and Kirtley Settle; and 1 sister: Ruth Arnold.

1 daughter: Catherine Settle of Somerset
1 son: Fern Kent Settle and wife Andrea of Campbellsville
2 grandchildren: Zachary Kent Settle and Blake Thomas Settle, both of Campbellsville
1 sister: Wanda Vittitoe of Bloomington, Illinois

All funeral services will be performed privately. Mr. Settle will be laid to rest in the Green River Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Campbellsville.
