Joseph Luckett, 89, of Campbellsville, KY son of the late Ed Luckett and Myrtle Raley Luckett, was born March 10, 1931 in Marion County, KY. He died at 9:31A.M., Monday, April 20, 2020 in Campbellsville.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Joe was a retired supervisor with Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. Joe enjoyed golfing and was an avid reader.
He united in marriage to Thelma Maupin September 1, 1956 and she preceded him in death March 12, 1997. He was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
SURVIVORS: 1 son and 1 daughter: Joe Luckett, Jr. & wife Cassy of Louisville, KY and Kaye Breeding & husband Ernie of Campbellsville, KY; 3 grandchildren: Sara Parke of Campbellsville, Austin Luckett & wife Lauren of Mt. Washington and Sidney Blanford of Louisville; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
