David Ricky Edmonds, 65, of Summersville, KY, son of the late David Luther Edmonds and Hattie Elizabeth Bagby Edmonds, was born on Wednesday, October 27, 1954 in Hodgenville, KY and departed this life on Friday, April 17, 2020 at his home.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. He was also employed with Cox Interior, Inc. in Campbellsville.
SURVIVORS: Wife of 36 years, Karen Gayle Bloyd Edmonds of Summersville, KY having united in marriage on May 14, 1983; 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law: Carrie and Craig Martin, Melanie Edmonds and her boyfriend Junior Feese, and Emily & Ethan Patterson all of Summersville, KY; 4 grandchildren: Jaydon Martin, Maddux Martin, Ella Martin, and Owen Patterson all of Summersville, KY; father-in-law: Milton Bloyd of Summersville, KY; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law: Joyce and Jerry Scott, Vickie and Mike McCubbins, Rita and Jimmy Berry all of Summersville, KY; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Billy and Becky Bloyd, and Sherry Bloyd all of Summersville, KY; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Edmonds was also preceded in death by a daughter: Hillary Edmonds on April 2, 1992; and three brothers: Luther Edmonds, Barry Edmonds, and Bobby Lee Edmonds.
