Travis Edward Payne, 77, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Sam W. and Mayme (Rayley) Payne, was born February 10, 1943 in Marion County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 in Lexington at the UK Medical Center.
He was a former boat builder and a painter and was of the Christian Faith. Travis was a Veteran having served in the 82nd Airborne of the United States Army.

Wife: Anna (Bright) Payne of Campbellsville
1 son: Travis “TJ” Payne, Jr and wife Debbie of Campbellsville
4 grandchildren: Tyler Payne, Jaclyn Ellis and husband Austan, Veronica “Ronnibeth” Payne and Colby Payne
1 great-grandchild: Charlotte Ann “Charlie” Ellis
1 niece: Charlotte Gribbins & husband David
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Jason Eric Payne on July 21, 2012, and a brother: Charles Russell Payne.
Travis will be laid to rest in the Old Liberty Cemetery at Bradfordsville, KY.
Due to efforts to combat the spread of COVID-19 and recent requirements implemented by the Office of Governor Andy Beshear and the Kentucky Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors, all funeral services will be performed privately.
