DEENA RICHERSON, 57, CAMPBELLSVILLE

Deena Deann Richerson, 57, of Campbellsville, KY passed from this life on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at the University of Louisville Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Weston, West Virginia to George Copeland and Margaret Ann (Jones) LaPradd on October 19, 1962.

Mrs. Richerson had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She was a graduate of Campbellsville High School and studied nursing at Somerset Community College. She united in marriage to Mr. Ronald Melvin Richerson on July 1, 1989. Mrs. Richerson was a long-time employee of Taylor Regional Hospital, where she was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Unit Coordinator. Her life’s passion turned to being a K9 rescue, and she served as president and board member of Jaida’s Paws Rescue, Inc. in Campbellsville. Her caring and genuine heart for her family and furry friends will be dearly missed for generations. She loved family and her greatest passion was saving the animals.
