Blanche Greer Kerr, 107, of Campbellsville, KY daughter of the late Joel F. Greer and Sarah Catherine Eggers Greer, was born October 29, 1912 in Ashe County, North Carolina. She died Saturday, March 21, 2020 in Campbellsville, KY.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Tommy Kerr December 24, 1937 and preceded her in death December 21, 1995. She was also preceded in death by four 4 and 3 sisters: Jess Greer, Kelly Greer, Walter Greer, Roby Greer, Edith “Lot” Fleming, Etta Garnett and Alice Bottoms.
Blanche was fond of all animals, especially cats, dogs and cows, which she named.
SURVIVORS: 2 nieces and caregivers of Campbellsville: Sarah Davidson and Linda Wethington; another niece, Mary Nelson of Louisville; 2 nephews: Larry Garnett of Meade County, KY and J. D. Bottoms of Galveston, Texas; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
