Ralph Porter Dowell, 81, was born March 30, 1938 in Metcalfe County, KY to the late Jack and Ruth Walker Dowell. He departed this life on Saturday, March 8, 2020 in Adair County, KY.
Ralph had made a profession of faith in Christ and was associated with Fry Baptist Church. He was a United States Navy Veteran. Ralph was self-employed in the oil field industry and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, being outdoors and collecting knives. He also loved to cut up with family and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Dowell; one son, Ronnie Dowell; and one brother, Richard Dowell.
