WILLIAM MONTGOMERY, 81, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
William O. Montgomery, 81, of Campbellsville, KY, formerly of Greensburg, son of the late Zeral Archie Montgomery and Dora Gladys McKinney Montgomery, was born July 18, 1938 in Green County and departed this life on Friday, January 31, 2020 at his residence in Taylor County, KY. 
 
He had served in the United States Air Force and was a retired Maintenance Mechanic for Valvoline Oil and Lube.
 
SURVIVORS: Wife, Edna Mae Price Montgomery of Campbellsville, having united in marriage on August 23, 2015; 1 daughter: Melissa Gale Hovious of Campbellsville; 3 sons and a daughter-in-law: Raymond J. and Vita Montgomery of Greensburg, William O. Montgomery, Jr. of Campbellsville and Shannon Z. Montgomery of Louisville; 1 step-daughter: Denise Johnson of Louisville; 1 sister and 1 brother: Elizabeth Wagner and Timmy Montgomery, both of Campbellsville; 11 grandchildren: Brianna Hovius of Campbellsville, Brandon Hovius of China, Bryan Montgomery of Greensburg, Ashley Montgomery of Campbellsville, Christen Montgomery of Lexington, Morgan Montgomery and Shannon Montgomery, Jr., both of Louisville, Clark Rueda and Patricia Morrison, both of Greensburg, Tara Johnson & Cody Johnson; 7 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
 
Mr. Montgomery was also preceded in death by: Twin daughters: Patricia Elaine Montgomery and Kathy Dorene Montgomery; a step son: Kevin Johnson; 2 grandchildren: Sgt. Ryan J. Montgomery and Catina Bagby; and his previous wife, Marietta Montgomery.

Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M., Central Time, Monday, February 3, 2020 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Deon Jewell officiating
 
Burial: Montgomery Cemetery
  
Visitation: 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Sunday and after 7 A.M., Central Time Monday 
 
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Montgomery Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
