Willie Wise, 85, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Ira Wise and Sarah Phillips Wise, was born October 22, 1934 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 5:02 P.M., Saturday, January 18, 2020 in Campbellsville.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church. Willie served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a longtime farmer and drove a milk truck for several years. He enjoyed going to car shows, was a member of the Tri County Car Club and was very proud of his 1959 Ford convertible.
Willie united in marriage to Hazel Marple December 29, 1956. She preceded him in death April 4, 2012.
SURVIVORS: 2 step sons: Wally Humphress & wife Peggy of Campbellsville and Howard Humphress & wife Patty of Canton, Ohio; 1 daughter-in-law: Dawn Wise of Campbellsville; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 sister and 1 brother: Gladys Wise Roberts, Willard Wise & wife Delma, both of Campbellsville; Special friend: Willine Bowman of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Willie was also preceded in death by one son, Stephen “Steve” Wise; one brother, Vallis Wise and one sister, Bernice Wise.
