LOU BELL DYER VEATCH, 82, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Lou Bell (York) Dyer Veatch, 82, the daughter of the late Elmer and Iva (Morrison) York, was born January 16, 1938 in Cumberland County, KY and departed this life on Friday, January 17, 2020 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. 
 
Lou Bell was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom having worked for over 34 years and was retired from Taylor Regional Hospital after 20 year of service. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Always a lady, she took pride in doing laundry and ironing, making sure each garment was perfect before wearing it, and enjoyed passing those qualities to her family.
 
SURVIVORS: 1 daughter: Patricia Dyer Bell and companion John Pelcher II of Campbellsville; 1 sister: Betty Jo Wheatley and husband Henry of Campbellsville; 2 grandchildren: Jeffrey Dyer and wife Stephanie and John Pelcher III of Campbellsville; 2 great-grandchildren: Braydan and Wayne Dyer; 2 step-great grandchildren: Thomas and Benjamin McMahan; 1 special niece: Shannon Taylor of Campbellsville, 1 special great-niece: Madison Ferrie of Campbellsville and a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
 
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Donell, Odell, Roy and Jerry York.
 
Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Dooley officiating
 
Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens    
 
Visitation: Monday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home
 
Pallbearers: Timmy, Greg, Bubby, Stacy, Jeffrey, Stevie, and Donnie York, and Kyle Coffey
 
 L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY in charge of arrangements.
