Danny Ray Forbis, 69, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Campbellsville, KY son of the late Ralph Forbis and Jantia Phillips Forbis, was born September 9, 1950 in Hart County, KY. He died at 9:28 A.M., Wednesday, December 25, 2019 in Louisville.
Danny professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a former captain of Campbellsville EMS and security officer for armored car for Garda. Danny was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed music and was a former bass player and singer with several bands including the Turbines, Willie B. Show, the Misfits and the JD Black Band.
He united in marriage to Linda Bell November 14, 1998.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Linda Forbis of Louisville, KY; 2 sons and 1 daughter: Scott Forbis of Finley, Tammy Hunt & husband Jeff and Daniel Forbis of Campbellsville, KY; 6 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Mike Forbis & wife Carolyn and Lanny Forbis & wife Pat of Campbellsville, KY; Mothers-in-law: Corine Bell of Columbia, KY & Dixie Wise of Campbellsville, KY; several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives & friends.
Danny was also preceded in death by a grandson, Blake Whitlow.
