Gary Bowen, 64, of Campbellsville, KY, son of Bernice Sapp Bowen Cox and the late Lewis Bowen, was born August 10, 1955 in Taylor County, KY. He died at 12:20 A.M., Saturday, December 21, 2019 in Campbellsville.
Gary professed faith in Christ and was baptized. He was a former construction worker and bricklayer and was known for taking pride in his work. Gary will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather and was always cutting up with his friends.
He united in marriage to Josephine Sallee in 1998.
SURVIVORS: Wife: Josephine Bowen; 2 daughters: Lori Antle and Tiffany Bowen of Campbellsville; 7 grandchildren: Caley James, Bailee Antle, Jackson Antle, Easton Powell, Keeley Powell, Molly Powell and Brantley Davis; 2 step-grandchildren: Gabriel Carter and Joseph Bagby: his mother, Bernice Bowen Cox of Campbellsville; 3 brothers: Wendell Bowen and wife, Gwen and Randy Bowen and wife, Barbara of Campbellsville and Greg Bowen and wife, Sue of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Gary was also preceded in death by one son and daughter: Adam Bowen November 15, 2009 and Kelli Jo Bowen in infancy.
