HARRY WALKER, 89, LOUISVILLE

 

Harry Lonzo Walker, 89, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Greensburg, KY son of Virgil Walker and Ella Gumm Walker, was born October 4, 1930 in Waverly, Illinois and departed this life on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville. 
 
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. He was retired after 34 years as a Tool & Dye Setter for General Electric, was a Korean War Veteran having served in the United States Army, was a member of the Fern Creek Masonic Lodge #955 F&AM, a member of the F.O.P. Lodge #6 in Louisville, and was a Kentucky Colonel.
 
SURVIVORS: Wife of 65 years, Mabel Hall "Kit" Walker of Louisville, KY; 2 daughters: Kendai Baird and Lisa Spencer both of Louisville; 3 grandchildren: Angela Brewer and husband Tony, Nicholas Stilger, and Parker Spencer all of Louisville; 4 great-grandchildren: Brittany Brewer, Jessica Stilger, Krysta Stilger, and Shayna Booth; and a host of other relatives and friends.
 
Mr. Walker was also preceded in death by a son-in-law: Jerry Baird on March 9, 2014; three brothers and two sisters: Booker Walker, Virgil Walker, Jr., J.E. Walker, Darlene Koranchan, and Ella Dean Whitlow.

The funeral services for Mr. Harry Lonzo Walker will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bennett Cemetery with full military honors. Bro. Jerry Noe officiating.
 
Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Saturday until time of the funeral service.
 
Masonic Rite services for Mr. Harry Lonzo Walker will be conducted at 7:00 P.M., Central Time, Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home conducted by the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM.
