The newly rebuilt KY 289 Marion County Veterans Memorial Bridge at Jessietown/New Market is now open. It officially opened at 5:00pmET this afternoon (Thursday, October 29, 2026). Though two travel lanes will be operational, work to complete the full project will continue along right-of-way and adjacent to Rolling Fork River.

Motorists are advised to use caution and pay close attention to signs, traffic control devices and workers in the area.
