A Taylor County woman is facing many counts of animal abuse after the Taylor County Sheriffs Department investigated a complaint of animal cruelty in the Spurlington community, Big Dawg radio news has learned that Chasity L. Velazquez age 36 was charged after officers found 140 animal ranging from goats, lambs, sheep, pigs and rabbits, the animals were either dead or malnourished. 

The investigation continues by the Taylor County Sheriffs Department and Taylor County Animal Control.
