Taylor County Fire Department was dispatched to the 1500 Block of Speck Ridge Rd for a camper fire. Upon arrival firefighters found a 5th wheel camper fully involved. The trailer was unoccupied at the time of the fire. A neighbor was able to use a tractor to move the trailer out from under a carport and away from other structures prior to the fire departments arrival, preventing it from spreading to nearby structures. Thirteen firefighters with three apparatus were on the scene for one hour. No injuries reported.
