At approximately 6:46 pm this afternoon firefighters were dispatched to a commercial structure fire located at 4330 Hodgenville Rd. (Murray’s Auto). Upon arrival firefighters found heavy fire coming from one end of the structure with heavy smoke and heat throughout the rest of the structure. They worked to protect the endangered residence behind the structure and done what they could to contain the fire. Due to the heavy fire load, within minutes the structure was fully involved with fire. They were able to keep it from spreading to the residence although it did melt the siding. Firefighters cleared the scene around 9:33 pm.
