On Tuesday, November, 26, 2024 at approximately 3:28amET, the Campbellsville Police Department was dispatched to the area of 117 South Central Avenue in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival, Campbellsville Police located Rosealle Allan, 57, of Campbellsville with multiple stab wounds. 

After an investigation, it was determined that 58-year-old Randy Viers of Campbellsville had stabbed Ms. Allan. She was taken to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment of her injuries.

Viers was arrested and charged with Attemped Murder and Unlawful Imprisonment1^st Degree, He was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.
