Taylor County Fire Department was dispatched just after 1pm Sunday afternoon to 3219 Greensburg Rd for a residential structure fire, Big Dawg News has learned upon arrival firemen found a one story vinyl sided house with heavy fire showing from the rear portion of the residence.
Taylor County firemen deployed multiple hose lines and were able to quickly gain control of the fire, firefighters were on the scene for two hours performing overhaul and extinguishment.
The residence sustained heavy smoke and fire damage, the occupants were home at the time of the fire and were able to exit the structure safely.
No injuries were reported.
